Vinnie Lingham: ICOs are not the same as they used to be before

At the Blockchain Expo 2017 conference, held recently in Silicon Valley, a well-known investor Vinnie Lingham gave a piece of advice to those who are going to start ICO. Vinnie believes that here comes the end of that crazy time when a certain team from nowhere could collect millions of dollars with just an idea and a “white paper”.

Modern ICO investor attentively studies the profiles of the founders and tracks the project’s activity in social networks. Some analysts report, that 65 ICOs are starting every week.  Accordingly, despite the fact that more and more funds are being invested in the blockchain nowadays, one single ICO share decreases.

Vinny claims that the actual amount of funds that can be raised by a successful ICO at the moment is $8-10 million. And investors would better prefer to participate in the projects that already have their product: and collecting funds for product development.
