The Russian supermodel, actress, and philanthropist Natalia Vodianova has launched the mobile app Elbi, already available for download in Canada, Russia and India. The app allows its users to contribute to the charity fund in exchange for the LoveCoins private cryptocurrency, that will be used for purchasing production of some of the world-famous brands. Givenchy, Dior, Fendi, Christian Louboutin and other renown companies have already become brand partners of the project.
Gamification, they suppose in Elbi, will stimulate charity fund-rising through giving further momentum to the users’ incentive. ElbiDrop feature allows for competition for Louis Vuitton and Messika exclusive production. The users collected the largest amount of LoveCoins during the 24 hour period will be considered as winners.
Last year the Fidelity Charitable fund run by the Fidelity Investments raised $ 22 000 000 worth in bitcoins.
