Paris will soon be hosting Bitcoin Art (r)evolution – an exhibition dedicated to the 10th Bitcoin anniversary. Artist from all over the world will exhibit their works about Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies.
Bitcoin Art (r)evolution is aimed at raising public awareness of cryptocurrencies. It will also show the potential of blockchain and cryptocurrencies through symbolism and practice.
Some of the artists will depict the major stereotypes associated with digital assets, such as their comparison to dot-com bubble. Others will try to hide bitcoin in their artwork.
Andy Bauch, Coin Artist, Josephine Bellini, Nanu Berks, Mark Bern, Yosh, Pascal Boyart, Yom de Saint Phalle, Choq, Youl, Ilies Issiakhem will all participate in the exhibition.
The exhibition is organized by the French artist Pascal Boyart, who believes that Paris stands a great chance of becoming the center of a new artistic movement combining the realms of art and cryptocurrencies.
Visitors to the exhibition will be able to purchase the works of art for cryptocurrency. The bargains will be backed up by the certificates of authenticity registered on blockchain.
The exhibition will last from September 28 till October 5.
A 31.5% stake in a world famous work of art by Andy Warhol was sold earlier this month for $1 700 000 worth of cryptocurrency at a decentralized art auction.
