Roger Ver plans to launch his own cryptocurrency exchange

Roger Ver, the owner of Bitcoin.com website and keen Bitcoin Cash supporter, announced in the interview with Bloomberg that he is planning to buy or create his own cryptocurrency exchange.

According to Ver, the trading platform is to be launched straight on the Bitcoin.com website, which will expectedly provide it with a great amount of traffic. Ver believes that this will help his platform in winning “thousands or tens of thousands of new users every single day”.

“If we build it ourselves, we can do it really, really cheap, and we get exactly what we want. But we don’t have the security of a battle-tested exchange that’s been around for a while,” – he noted.

Bitcoin Cash will, not surprisingly, become the base currency for the new exchange. Bitcoin.com CEO opined that it will further boost the wide adoption of this digital asset.

Roger Ver is known as a vigorous Bitcoin Cash supporter. He has been clashing with Bitcoin Core influencers since the very emergence of BCH fork in mid-2017. In May 2018, Bitcoin.com was quietly removed by major crypto markets tracking website CoinMarketCap, following allegations that Bitcoin.com was misleading customers into buying Bitcoin Cash instead of Bitcoin.
