CEO Google Sundar Pichai confessed that his son was using his family’s home PC to mine ethers. According to Pichai, his son knows more about the operation principles of the Ethereum network than about the U.S. financial system.
Sundar Pichai’s 11-year-old son uses his family’s home PC to mine Ethereum tokens (ETH), as revealed by his father at the New York Times DealBook conference.
According to Pichai, his son told him about this during a family dinner last week. Pichai responded by explaining his son the nation’s monetary system “and how paper money actually works.”
“I realized he understood Ethereum better than how paper money works,” Pichai said. “I had to talk to him about the banking system, the importance of it. It was a good conversation,” – CEO Google added.
Back in July, Sergey Brin, who is the co-founder of Google and one of the richest men in the world, revealed that he had been mining ethers with his ten-year-old son too.
