ICO projects have dumped another 400 000 ETH over the past month

Last month saw ICO projects selling 416 000 ETH, the highest amount within a monthly period since this summer.

Back in August, ICO startups got rid of 100 000 ETH, as the statistics provided by the Santiment shows. Another 300 000 ETH were sold in September. ETH sales kept on growing in scale in November, with 100 000 coins being sold in just one week period. All in all, 400 000 ETH were sold in November.

It is worth noting, that ICO project had much to do with the ETH market collapse on March 27, 2018, when they dumped about 630 000 ethers in a matter of a day.

All tracked ICOs still hold 2.9 million ethers, which is now roughly worth $260 million, about as much as one top ICO was worth last year.

According to the report by Ernst & Young, 86% of ICO-related tokens dropped in value below their initial listing price. ICO funding has also fallen to its 19-month low.
